Submariner Walk-in Booking Cancellation Policy
Booking and Payments:
- A PHP1,000 down payment is required the day prior to a fun diving trip.
- A PHP1,500 down payment is required for Discover Scuba Diving (DSD) or Refresher dives.
- A PHP10,000 down payment is required prior to the start of any courses.
Cancellation and Reschedule Terms:
- No refund – is provided for Cancelation made less than 48 hours before the morning of the dive
- Refund – is payable for Cancellations made 48hours before the morning of the dive
- Reschedule Dive – more than 24 hours before the morning of the dive there is no fee
- Reschedule Dive – less than 24 hours before the dive a fee of PHP800 is payable
Non-Refundable Items:
- The cost of the PADI eLearning material is non-refundable, as we purchase it directly from PADI.
Additional Fees:
Prices do not include the Eco Tourism Development fee. This fee must be paid in cash if you do not have a ticket. The ticket costs P400 and is valid for 5 days.
Submariner Diving Center Online Booking Policy
We understand that plans can change. Our cancellation policy is as follows:
- Cancellation 14 days or more before the trip: Full refund.
- Cancellation between 7 and 14 days before the trip: 50% refund.
- Cancellation less than 7 days before the trip: No refund.
Booking and Payments:
- An online booking requires a 50% down payment for each activity.
- The cost of the PADI eLearning material is non-refundable, as we purchase it directly from PADI.
Under no circumstances you will receive a refund if you choose to cancel your diving trip for any of the following reasons:
- If the weather does not suit you.
- Due to sickness or medical conditions.
- Due to delayed flights or transport.
Submariner Refresher Course Policy
- If your last dive was over 1 year ago, the refresher Course is highly recommended.
- If your last dive was 2 to 6 years ago, the refresher course is required.
- If your last dive was 6 or more years ago a Full PADI SCUBA Tune-Up Course is required. Ask for price.
Submariner Divers Dive Ratios Policy
- One PADI Divemaster for 4 certified divers max.
- One PADI instructor for every 2 students.
- Divers are not allowed to dive solo from our dive boats.
- All fun dives are guided by a divemaster, the buddy system is applied
- Private instructors or divemaster’s are available at an additional cost.
Medical Clearance
- Prior to enrollment in any of the courses, a Confidential Medical Form must be filled out, and a physician’s release may be required if there are any medical issues preventing you from diving.
Junior Divers
Junior Divers must have a parent or legal guardian accompany them at all times on courses and on our boats. Parents must provide a written statement authorizing a legal guardian.
- Junior Divers – (10-11 years old) are allowed to dive to 12 meters – 40 feet.
- Junior Divers – (12-14 years old) are allowed to dive to 18 meters – 60 feet.
- Junior Divers – (12-14 years old) are allowed to dive to 21 meters – 70 feet with the Advanced Certification.
Choosing a Dive Site
Our dive captains and dive operators will take requests for dive sites however sites cannot be pre-booked or guaranteed. Weather, sea conditions and experience of divers on board are also a factor in selecting the appropriate dive site for the group. Our dive captains and dive operators will make every effort to accommodate your requests.
Diver Safety
Our Dive masters and Instructors are renewed certified PADI professionals with current Emergency Response and O2 training. We have an updated emergency plan and we work in partnership with DAN NETWORK and the Philippines Task
Accepted agencies and certifications
All certified divers are required to have a certification card or a logbook. Submariner Dive Center accepts the following certifications among others: SSI, CMAS, BSAC, IDEA, PDIC, NAUI, ANDI, NASDS, SDI, YMCA & HSA.
