PADI® Open Water Diver Course is the first scuba certification level. A highly-trained PADI Instructor will teach you how to scuba dive in a relaxed, supportive learning environment.

Before starting the practical part of the course you need knowledge about the basics of diving: safety, equipment, environment and skills. Your Open Water manual consists of five chapters each followed by exercises that test your knowledge. You can study the PADI Open Water Course theory here with us at Submariner Diving Center. We provide the manual and videos once you have signed up for your course.

PADI Open Water Diver eLearning
You will have access to interactive presentations that include videos, audio, graphics and an online manual. You will save one day doing homework during your holidays.
How to get the eLearning course?
To receive access for the online course we ask deposit of 50% via PayPal to info@submarinerdiving.com. A PayPal account is not required. A credit card is enough. Once your booking is confirmed, your eLearning access code will be sent to your email address. We will need some additional information as your Full name, Birthdate and Email Address.
The practical part of the course is divided into two parts: 5 confined water sessions and 4 open water dives combined in 6 dives over 2 days.
Day 1: 3 Confined water & 2 open water dives
In the morning, you will start by learning the basics in shallow water followed by your first open water dive to a maximum depth of 12 meters. After lunch on the boat, you will go for your second open water dive of the day. By 3:30 pm more or less, we will be back at the dive shop for debriefing.
Day 2: 2 Confined water & 2 open water dives
You will complete the remaining confined water sessions and 2 open water dives with a maximum depth of 18 meters. By the end of the day you will have done what it takes to become a PADI Open Water diver!
